BELLINGHAM CHILDREN'S FILM FESTIVAL

Save the dates! Every year, March is the time for Pickford Film Center to present the Bellingham Children’s Film Festival, featuring works of exhilarating imagination and creativity — just for kids!

2026 will feature Eh Is For Animation, some of the best Canadian short animation from over six decades, Little Kid Flicks, an animated shorts program from New York International Children's Film Festival, and two feature films: Grow, a British family comedy starring Nick Frost about a girl with highly unusual horticultural powers and Kensuke’s Kingdom, a breath-taking and award-winning animation about a shipwrecked boy and his dog, who find themselves on an uninhabited island with a mysterious old man. Kensuke’s Kingdom stars Cillian Murphy, Sally Hawkins, and Ken Watanabe.
