Rentals are back! At this time, rentals can be scheduled either Saturdays at 1:30 pm or Thursdays at 7:45 pm in either of the 61-seat theaters or the 19-seat jewelbox theater at the Grand Avenue location.

Rental fee (not including licensing) is $400 (61-seat)/$300 (19-seat). Licensing fees paid separately of $250-$400 depending on film title. The Pickford will take care of licensing if applicable.
Most films are available with the one large exception — all repertory films owned by Disney, including subsidiaries such as 20th Century Fox, are unable to book at the Pickford on Grand due to distributor restrictions. These films are only allowed to be programmed at the Bay Street location which is unfortunately, unavailable for rentals. *Movies over 2.25 hours require an additional review.

Want to see how your film looks on the big screen, or test your sound mix? We are pleased to offer a discounted rental rate for local filmmakers and crews to test films in a cinema setting without an audience.

- BAY STREET (House 2) — 2K bulb projection, 7.1 surround sound, 235:1 screen w/ horizontal movable masking, 132 seats
- GRAND AVENUE (Saturna Capital Theater) — 4K laser projection, 7.1 surround sound, 1.85:1 screen, 61 seats
- GRAND AVENUE (Joy Cinema) — 4K laser projection, 7.1 surround sound, 1.85:1 screen, 61 seats
- GRAND AVENUE (Loober Jewelbox) — 2K bulb projection, 7.1 surround sound, 1.85:1 screen, 19 seats

We are able to accommodate full-theater buyouts for showtimes that are on the schedule. Fill out the form below to make a request to get the whole place to yourself. Concession discount bundles are available for your group if desired. Requests are not a guarantee. You will be contacted to schedule your event.
