Everything in this film, its quirky characters, intense art direction and unusual storyline winningly demands your attention.  A gutsy twelve-year-old girl is on a mission to heal her family and the road she takes, along with the oddball new boy in school, is both touching and laugh-out-loud funny.  Outside of constantly blue skies, this film reminds me of Bellingham.  Watch it and you will know why.
