The Same River Twice (2003) + Riverdogs (1978)

DOCTOBER SPECIAL ENCORE PRESENTATION<div>A prequel to Robb Moss’s Bend in the River, which was wildly popular at this year’s Doctober, The Same River Twice returns to the Colorado River and a thirty-five-day rafting trip through the Grand Canyon, where a band of neo-hippies spent a summer of love, rock-climbing, and possibility a quarter-century ago. First captured in Moss’s Riverdogs, that fleeting moment of youthful freedom becomes the starting point for a poignant reckoning with middle age. Blending past and present, Moss catches up with the old gang, now navigating marriage, divorce, success, failure, cancer, and aerobics. What emerges is a wistful, deeply human portrait of lost youth, wounded grace, and the ways we endure, change, and carry our younger selves forward.</div>DocumentaryPT1H50MG2026-10-26USen
